Similarly, I find it interesting that many atheists refer to religion as if it's a detrimental external force affecting humans. If there is no god, religion was created by humans. If you think religion is horrible, then you should think humans are horrible.

So then .... according to Percie, ONE of the possible alternative views (according to the above ... what he said, ... is that if there IS a god, then thousands of religions were created by "god" (singular), or would that be "the gods" ? LOL LOL That makes perfect sense. Not. So actually we know that he's talking about ONE of the 35,000 sects of Christianity, (of course the ONE he belongs to). THAT ONE was created by his god. All the rest, not so much.

Thus his generalization is false in general, and false for himself. (And his conclusion is also obviously false). Humans do all kinds of stupid and horrible things, that does not mean that humans are horrible. Now about that Logic course Percie ... better hop to it.

It is funny, that of all the millions of websites this dude could engage with, he picks this one.
Clearly an obsession with him. Why would that be, if he really does actually believe ? His scripture tells him that faith is a gift of his god(s).
So basically, he's whining to his god, that he didn't give everyone this "gift" ?
We've actually had a few theists who were interesting, kind, and very informed, (and still do have a few).
I belong to two Christian sites. One I have to watch my step, but doing that is a fun game, and I can quote scripture with the best of them.
The other one I can say anything and they would not ban me. I've thought of going back to Sucipe Dummyknee (Domine), and try to "behave" ... but life is short.

In a way, (some may agree, some not), but these sorts of sites may have served their purpose.  
When the internet was coming into what it is today, suddenly there were opportunities for people (formerly isolated) of like-minded view to form communities.
Realizing how many others of (what were) unpopular views was surprising and healthy. Now that's kind of "old hat" for "kids these days', and the popularity may be on the wane.
Religion is on the wane, in educated societies.

If you say the religion you believe in was created by the god that religion teaches, .... it's about as circular as it gets.

Oh wow, how can the other 4,299 be SO clueless and wrong? We better go out and explain it to them. Break out the cannons...
