NY Times Interview with Berkley Breathed
I met him one time.  It's a long stupid story.  It was very brief but I was thrilled.  I loved his work.  I liked it better than Gary Trudeau's strip.  Btw, did you guys know that Gary Trudeau is married to newscaster, Jane Pauley?  They've been married for almost 40 years.  Cute couple.

Jim Davis lived not far from where I went to school in Indiana. They had a little shop there for Garfield items and he'd autograph what you bought if he was there.

Thanks for posting that link. Breathed is the only one of my favorite cartoonists who hasn't died and is still working on his strips. I have all of his anthologies and children's books in my private library.
