I was just talking to my mouse and she brought this up. I know you can get a little crazy when you've been confined too long, but that book on how to read mahjong tiles has given me important advice on this.

I'm not cooped up. I still go to work four nights a week.

The Cabin Fever Thread.
My life isn't all that different. Instead of eating out alone at 11:00 every day, I carry in take-out from several of the same restaurants. I kept to myself before too. I'm happy that the parties on special occasions with my wife's family have stopped for a while, for a break.
The company I keep is with my wife, other forum members, and a couple email correspondents -- all company I can still keep. "We meet at the post-office, and at the sociable, and about the fireside every night; we live thick and are in each other's way, and stumble over one another, and I think that we thus lose some respect for one another. Certainly less frequency would suffice for all important and hearty communications." -- Henry Thoreau, Walden
I get out every day, my interactions are just limited to 3 beasts.
Sorry dear.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Russian car crash videos on Youtube are full of Carma.
I get out everyday. Yesterday I went on a long bike ride. It was beautiful weather.
I get out when Boss Lady forgets the keys. Like Thursday, when she left them on the desk. I had those chains unlocked and was out the house in a heartbeat.
Most of the things I like to do like yoga, meditation, reading, watching an occasional movie, ordering takeout from a favorite restaurant, making tea lattes, enjoying a nice glass of wine, online window shopping, home decorating, playing with my new kitten...I can do at home. The cabin fever part for me (and I'm sure for my dogs) is the limited time outdoors. I really haven't felt comfortable staying outside for extended periods of time.

I am an R.N. so I am working. I live alone so my weekends have not changed, I drink coffee and lurk the net. I cook for myself, sketch, learning some guitar chords. My family life is on facetime these days. If residents and staff of the Long Term Care center I work get sick with COVID19 then my life will seriously change because I will either be sick at home or living 24/7 in the facility. I have had to stay there before for a week at a time due to winter road conditions. So, that is when cabin fever will be a reality for me.
One thing you never see: A guy in Boston Mass. with a Union flag yelling "The Nawth's gonna rise again!"

I walked outside for an hour today. Cold, but green. Amazing how much better the wind feels on the back of your neck than in your face.
god, ugh
I just discovered Boss Lady had been into my TP supply!
