The wave function.
Quote:in what units.
Wave function is dimensionless.

Quote:What do you imagine light is, if it is not energy?
What's the problem with light? Why does it need to be something other than itself? It is conceptualized as a form of energy. But I directly perceive it as simply being light, nothing else.
Quote:Perception is not metaphysics, it is biology and psychology.
Perception can also be objectively investigated in sciences. But my proposition that "I do not directly perceive energy" is:
1. Direct perception means there is a one-to-one relation between the percept and the thing in reality, such that a thing in reality is associated with one and only one percept and vice versa.
2. My perception of light and warmth are different
3. According to (1) percepts of light and warmth cannot be direct perceptions of one thing.
This is a metaphysical argument, it doesn't rely on physics at all.
Please make it clear what do you mean by direct perception, so we can see where exactly the disagreement is.
Quote:Yes.
Please explain why the measurements done through computational models in sciences are valid measurements, but the case I presented is not a valid measurement.
