Theists: Your last 10 prayers
Interesting question.

I'm guessing though that you're not gonna get any realistic
responses from the few theists here, as they'll be reluctant
to give us an honest answer, at the ultimate core of your
question—did that prayer work?  If so in exactly what way?
And was there any perceptible, physical manifestation that
was unequivocally a direct result of the prayer?
I'm a creationist;   I believe that man created God.

You think that's the core of the question?  Asking for the most recent 10 leaves open the possibility of "wait" being the answer to all of them.  My speculation was that it was more about the triviality of what things get prayed for, like for a parking space to open up or getting with that girl with the eyepatch and the club foot.

Wouldn't that suggest praying to die so as to get to heaven more quickly?  I doubt most theists pray for that.  They are more likely to pray to continue to exist on Earth.  Falling airplanes, being shot at in war, facing a carjacker with a gun, confronting an angry bear, etc.
Otherwise, the theists would all just stand on railroad tracks.

I don't recall a Commandment that says "Thou shalt not kill thyself to get to ME quicker" .   Angel

Any reticence about answering is itself informative.  The sense of virtue integral to prayer leaves me to think those who pray would be proud to publicize their prayers, not be shy about sharing them.  There shouldn't be any reasons to be defensive; lots of reasons to be confident about being right.  But we'll see.

My last 10 prayers happened in the early 1990s and the answer to all of them was "pound sand".
