Windows 11 Weird Behaviour?
#1
Exclamation
Windows 11 Weird Behaviour?
I suffered from a corrupt hard drive and upgraded to
a legal copy of Win 11, 64 bit a couple of days ago.

I'm now finding that on several random sites, including
eBay, I'm getting this strange on-screen behaviour.  If
it occurs on a site that has a dialogue input field, then
I can't type in any characters.  This has stopped me
from entering any feedback for the eBay sellers I deal
with.

Win 11 has also disabled my desktop's numeric pad (and
yes, I have NUM lock on LOL).  And worse, it's also disabled
my ALT(+) key!

These three issues are driving me nutso!  I'm sorry I ever
loaded this piece of (typical!) MS excremental software.

Any clues folks?    Dodgy

If you upgraded from a corrupt install then I would recommend doing a clean install.

Short of that, use DISM to check the integrity of your system files.

Fear not — it is banished. Crush it, and it vanishes. Stamp upon it, and it dies.

I've fixed the NUM lock problem which—seemingly—has
happened to numerous Win 11 users globally.  By default,
Windows 11 has this default(!) option of using the mouse keys
when NUM lock is turned on.  One has to go into control
panel and turn off  this absurd default mouse setting.  It's
set that way—apparently—in order to enable a virtual keyboard.

And the ALT key is also functioning okay with this little change.     Sun
