They do however have the gift of free will as we see from Scripture that Satan chose to rebel against God and recruited 1/3 of the angels of heaven to follow him.

Angels are spiritual beings that don't have to eat to survive as we do.

Spiritual death is eternal separation from God. The Scripture refers to it as the "Second Death."

I think my last post will be better understood with some explaining.

When the woman with an issue of blood (a female disorder that discharged blood from her private parts) came up behind Christ, believing she would be healed by merely touching his garment, Christ knew nothing of what was happening.

He stopped in His tracks, with a multitude of people all around Him, and said, "who touched me," He didn't know who touched Him because He had emptied Himself of His power as God, becoming the "obedient servant."

The Holy Spirit performed that miracle without Christ even knowing what had happened. Christ didn't know what was around the next corner unless the Holu Spirit told Him, again, the obedient servant walking by faith being our example.

The Scripture tells us plainly that Satan's heart was filled with pride. It is believed that Satan (Lucifer) was the grreatest and most powerful of angels. He is recorded in Scripture as the only angel who sat above the cherubim of the Throne of God.

The Scripture records the words of Satan's pride that led to his rebellion against God.

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!


For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I didn't see that in the bible scripture that I read (specifically the dead to life scripture, no mention of holy spirit). Don't you find it peculiar that only 'true' believers get to interpret the bible correctly? Seems to me that if your deity really wanted to benefit all of human kind thru writings/words that this deity could transmit his ideas (I assume you believe the the bible is the actual word of god) in a way that all came to the same conclusion. Then a person that had never been exposed to christianity and read the bible for the first time would come to the same conclusion as you. 

That doesn't seem to ever happen, as least not that I know of. There always is a person that states that they know what the bible/diety 'really', says and that their interpretation is correct.

They did not have all the knowledge to make a free will decision.

Good post! You bring up the importance of proper hermeneutics in Scripture study. Most false doctrine comes from improper hermeneutics, along with a lack of knowledge concerning the New Covenant, which in reality the understanding of the Cross of Christ.

It's the context of Scripture that reveals the truth. but one must take a proper approach to that context.(hermeneutics). There must be rules that apply across the board to properly find the truth.

Of course the unbeliever will accuse the believer of not having the truth, or at least try to show doubt. That's why Christ charged each individual person with the task of finding the truth for themselves.

In other words, each individual person will be held accountable for what they believe!
