Ron DeSantis, a fool according to the Nobel Committee

Ron DeSantis, a fool according to the Nobel Committee
"mRNA vaccines: A promising idea.
In our cells, genetic information encoded in DNA is transferred to messenger RNA (mRNA), which is used as a template for protein production. During the 1980s, efficient methods for producing mRNA without cell culture were introduced, called in vitro transcription. This decisive step accelerated the development of molecular biology applications in several fields. Ideas of using mRNA technologies for vaccine and therapeutic purposes also took off, but roadblocks lay ahead. In vitro transcribed mRNA was considered unstable and challenging to deliver, requiring the development of sophisticated carrier lipid systems to encapsulate the mRNA. Moreover, in vitro-produced mRNA gave rise to inflammatory reactions. Enthusiasm for developing the mRNA technology for clinical purposes was, therefore, initially limited."

It does not particularly take a genius to recognize DeSatan for the fool he is.

It’s pretty sad when Vivek Ramamadingdong is polling ahead of Ron.  A Hindu brown man is beating him?  Oh, the irony…

Back in 2016, when this nerdy little tune came out, I hadn't even heard of DeSantis.

I do remember some of these headlines, though. It seems like only yesterday.

When the Covid first hit and everyone was in lockdown and the streets and stores were empty, I'd read that scientists were working on a vaccine using mRNA.  So I started reading up on mRNA and how it would work with Covid. Then my husband and I spent a couple of months researching the companies that were planning on producing the first vaccines and we settled on the Moderna and invested quite a bit of money in them.    It was the best investment we ever made. We eventually took the money out right when it peaked and a year or so later my husband could retire from teaching high school because of that investment.

There was decades of research that went into mRNA and it's use in viruses and this is why the vaccine came out relatively quickly.   However, idiot anti-vaccers and MAGot dolts thought it was only in development for maybe two years and didn't trust it.  Instead of simply picking up their goddamn computer mouse and makeing a few goddamn clicks around the internet and reading up on the science behind mRNA and the decades of research that went into it, they lived in their supidity, refused to get vaccinated and died as a result.

Ignorance is NOT bliss.  Sometimes ignorance results in death.

Read?  You want Magatards to read?  They'd rather listen to some airhead on FOX tell them what they want to hear.

Apparently it didn't push as many Youtube clicks among the vaccine skeptics out there who were "doing their own research."

As I understand it, Magical Realism has two aspects.

(1) The magical is treated as mundane.

(2) The mundane is treated as magical.

It's not enough for one of these to be satisfied. (For example, something that satisfies only (1) might be called "fantasy".)

If my understanding is correct, then this story would seem to qualify as Magical Realism.
