Were we offline?

As much as I don't post, I still check in *almost* daily.
I got an email from the server company that we had a disruption, but I could swear I checked in just last night and everything looked fine. Weird.

Yes. Last night, about 11 Phoenix time, I checked in and got a message saying that the web hosting service had been disconnected. That would have been the middle of the night in Europe so probably a lot of people wouldn't have noticed but this morning (about 8:30 Phoenix time) I still had the same message.
It just came back on.

Same thing happened exactly one month ago (23rd August)
Perhaps the very generous person who pays the bill had some money transfer issues.

I'm slow to this thread, but yup. And recently, too. Good to see it back, but I do hope money isn't a chronic problem (seems like it often is in my forum circles).

Yeah, I tried about 8:30 Pacific Time and couldn't get on. I thought, uh-oh, did the bill get paid? Was there a glitch? Is my chrombook laptop going full stupid agian? Anyway, I'm glad everything's back to normal.
Yeah it happened when I was trying to post my obesity thread. Oh well, I've just made the post even better than yesterday's “draft”.
Problem solved. They had an active credit card, but the default one was set to a card that expired a few years ago.
