I believe that is reification.

LOL
A big word for you, .... which obviously you don't know the meaning of.
You keep making assertions, with no explanations.
That's not how argumentation works.
You are not competent to argue anything.

When are you going to explain why you're not in church on Easter ?

It's not rational to assume the correctness of one's conclusion. Rationality demands that you challenge to determine whether or not it's true. Unfortunately, the belief system you've fallen for doesn't tolerate questioning, and indeed threatens punishment for it, so you cannot ever know. You can only rely upon faith. And that is by definition irrational.

So no, you're wrong on this score. Entirely, 100%, I-failed-logic-in-college wrong.

By the way, the fallacy you're committing here is "begging the question": you're assuming that which you're attempting to demonstrate. Thanks for being honest enough to at least admit it.

Yes, I do 'beg the question' at times.

Stop preaching. It's now allowed here.
No one cares about your Babble quotes.
Babble quotes are the claim, not the evidence.

Why EXACTLY are you here ?

Millions upon millions of Jews don't buy that shit.

You're like 25 years too lake with this shit. It's all been debunked.
It's YOUR fault that you are totally out of touch with current academics.

Its that I reject a lot of current secular academics.
(my bold)

Now I see why you believe scientists reject evidence out of had. It's projection. [Image: Eye-Roll.gif]

You're quite good at dancing around questions.

He asked you about the gawd described in the old testament, but you want a quote from the new testament to stand in answer.

Bad form.

If you understood the scientific method, you would understand the bolded bit above is part of the scientific method and where christers like you abandon it in order to maintain your ignorance.

And yet pets and their owners communicate with each other. Have you ever talked to your pet?

Do your pets routinely speak to you?!? If so, I recommend you see a doctor, post-haste.

If snakes can talk, so can other pets.  Tongue Maybe only special pets, those that belong to people who adhere to a specific branch of a specific religion.

My doggie talks to me. In his own way. Just sayin'.

I don't talk to snakes, but Harry Potter does.
It's Parseltongue.

Talking snakes came directly from Babylonian mythology.
The Hebrew priests wrote it into Genesis.

Almost all of the Old Testament is one group of priests slamming another rival group of priests.

Yahweh [LORD] Jesus Christ in the New Testament is Yahweh [LORD] in the Old Testament. Mat 3:3 quotes from Isa 40:3, "Make ready the way of the LORD [Yahweh]," regarding Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem.

Incorrect. Rationality can apply to the actual or the abstract (cf. Euclidean geometry).

No. No. And No.
Absolutely not.
Yahweh is "God the Father".
Have you never read the gospels ?
Jesus in the gospels was always referring to "the Father", as a separate person from himself.
Jesus is not (Yahweh) the Father. Jesus is "God the Son".
THE absolute BASICS in Christian theology escapes you.
How anyone can be THAT ignorant is totally astounding.
You know NOTHING about your own religion.

What is love? Something your god is pretty obviously dismal at. Drowns the world, kills the firstborn of Egypt just to show off, commands the wholesale rape and murder of the Mydianites (and pretty much everybody else too). Honestly, he has all the social graces of a stalker. You know, the type that you have to call the cops on because he's still screaming threats through your door in spite of the restraining order.

And isn't it weird the way that this guy's always LORDing it over everybody? You'd thing that The Creator wouldn't need some petty title but here we go with Lord Gawd Awlmighty, King of Kings as if he were some jumped up member of the peerage. Almost as if some petty bronze-age priest tried his damnedest to make him sound really important but completely failed at future-proofing his scripture. I wonder if he has a really big hat.
