Small correction here, Joan of Arc was not convicted nor accused of witchcraft. She was accused of heresy for proferring false vision and for wearing men's clothing (in that case a full suit of armor). In fact, she was not executed after her conviction. It was only after she relapsed, started to wear male clothing in prison that she was finally executed as a relapsed heretic. It should also be taken into account that her trial was decried as a sham and politically motivated, failling to meet the legal procedures of the time. Without much surprise, she was reabilitated in 1456 after a 6 month long retrial.
There never was a false god, unless you consider a child a false person. - Max Müeller (1823-1900)
