Blood Type and Disease
I've seen where people with Type A blood have more complications with Covid. Now, I'm seeing where your blood type can be an indicator for the likelihood of stroke before 60 YoA...and Type A is back in the news, there.

Type O is most common. What if it is most common because people with it suffer less illness (and death) because of whatever "benefit" is derived from that genetic case? Interesting to consider, imho.

I have type A and the rarer kind (+ - I forget now). In the office blood drives, the nurses got excited. I used to have a card to show for it but lost that years ago. I should probably check on that again and start giving again. It wasn't painful, just annoying.

I have a rare blood type. I can receive any type of blood, but no one can receive mine. In the aftermath of my chronic Lyme disease, I was anemic and needed a bunch of repeat transfusions. The nurses were happy because I was able to use whatever they had a lot of...

BTW, that article referenced in the OP doesn't seem very scientific to me. But then, I don't know much about the topic.

If you mean all those unsupported ads and clickbaits in the link, I agree.
