Wordle/Quordle
Anyone play? What's your strategy? I've been playing for a week or so.

I start with STERN. I got that because wheel of fortune gives the end person RSTLNE as freebies, so I figured those are the most used letters, and STERN covers 5 of them. Even if they don't hit it helps by ruling them out.

Then I follow up based on my hits. BUT, I'm now thinking about following up with a completely different word that covers a lot of other high frequency letters. I'm thinking CLAIM or PLAID. Upside is you find or rule out more letters. Downside is that, unless STERN completely missed, there's no way of lucking into a 2 victory, which would be pretty cool.

Just played Quordle for the first time today. You're playing 4 Wordles simultaneously which is obviously tough, but you get 9 tries.

Does it sound like something we could play here? I don't know anything about it.

Hubby plays Wordle sometimes. Maybe he'd like that Quordle game too.  I'm not into games.  The most I do is Freecell and that's only for a few minutes in the evening, just to relax my mind.   He plays Age of Empires all the time, he's playing right now.  Sounds like he's in France battling someone or something.  I don't even know how it's played.

Sometimes I do crossword puzzles with real life crossword puzzle books and a 3-D  #2 graphite pencil thingy.

Not that I'm aware, but I hadn't thought of it until your post.

You can only play once a day, which is a good thing for me.
Is this sig thing on?

I don't want to go to a website once a day just to write one word. I'd do it here though, I am here anyway.

It sounds a bit pointless to me.

My games generally involve moving units around a battlefield, or combat aircraft through a mission. When I want language fun I grab the NYT crossword.
