Out here in real life, I personally know an atheist Trump voter. It's faulty to conflate lack of belief in gods with a particular political ideology.

You haven't defined "socialism". The tax rate for very wealthy people used to be in the 70-90 % range. Were they socialists ?

Because we're smarter than religitards.

Or is it just revenge? The cycle that pounds your heart to make their fragile masculinity cry in favor of mangina powers and manipulative behavior? The political voting in USA is terrible no doubt about it, since you only have Extreme left and Extreme right. A two party system. This could be fixed if someone over there got off their ass and made "Labour Party (Social democracy)" not to be confused with socialism.

If they refuse? Then just protest by encouraging people to not vote. How i would do it.

Bold is mine.
Thank you for showing your true colors. I reckon it won't be long before your insults and gender stereotypes are louder and more blatant. On to the ignore list you go.

So much wrong here... so just to pick a few highlights...

Conservative atheist?  Ayn Rand.  I heard about her two days ago for the umpteenth time and I'm sick of it.

But when (American) conservativsm veered headlong into performative Christian nationalism in the late 70s/early 80s, of course it wasn't going to bring many atheists with it.  That doesn't mean that there aren't atheists that aren't economically or socially conservative... it just means that they don't check all the boxes on the new, revised list of what it means to be a conservative in America.

Also "not conservative" doesn't automatically imply socialist.  The two are far from strictly synonymous.

Also-also, socialism has more roots in Christianity than in atheism.

Also-also-also.... nope, I've wasted enough time on this already.  Come back when you actually know what you're talking about.  (And no, right-wing propaganda straw-men don't count as knowledge.)

Actually, Ayn Rand IS a good example.  I had forgotten.  But she wasn't exactly conservative either.  She went off into objectivism and refusal to use force, and was "libertarianism" (which is not "liberalism" either).  She mostly thought intelligent people would succeed in a world competition. In a world of rational people, she might be right. Ever heard of "Null -A"?

She is "The devil take the hindmost" sort of idea.  I have some tendencies in that direction myself.  But as Elizabeth Warren said in general, someone has to build the schools and highways the successful people use and employ.

I bought my house, but it's on a public road and I sure didn't build THAT!

Got anything or anyone else to offer?

We are atheists because we don't believe in god or gods. There's no such thing as a conservative or liberal atheist because it's not a matter of an ideology but rather a state of being.

Every last one of us was born with a lack of belief in gods or a god, which means we are exactly the same way today as we were the day we were born.

It requires religious or political ideology to indoctrinate people into a belief system. We even have atheists here on the form who are conservative and/or liberal. We have atheists who believe in aliens and others who don't.

What we believe in, other than religion, has nothing to do with whether or not we are atheists.

Other beliefs and atheism are mutually exclusive.

I was sorta wrong on the parable thing. Apparently people who worked less got same payment as people who worked longer. But they had a deal. So they got 1 coin for that work. Just to clarify

Matthew 20:1-16

But Atheists dont care about religion, but they like it when its to manipulate people? Weird thing?

I don't watch Mahr regularly so maybe he is becoming more conservative.  He has no patience for extreme woke sensibility and he pokes fun at that, but overall he seems to me very liberal in policy and attitude.  No fan of Republicans.  Seems to check the boxes for climate change, income inequality, equal rights, police brutality.

Actually no. I proved your statement WRONG, and in fact you didn't even know where to look.
It is not manipulation, unless that's what your bias is.
The gospels are full of examples of Jesus passing out food to the poor. They were Jews, not Christians.
Guess that destroys you point, now, doesn't it.
In Acts 5, Ananias DIES for not handing over the full amount from his house sale ..., nothing about where it was going. It was REQUIRED. In Chapter 6, they gave food to others, (not same creed), I'll leave it to you to find it.

Quote:From: https://apnews.com/article/alexandria-oc...7bdcdca818

President Dwight David Eisenhower, perhaps the last real Republican, had a 90 percent tax rate for the super rich during his administration.

Eisenhower explained it this way: The super rich could avoid the high taxes by investing their money in things that make America stronger. If they wanted to avoid high taxes, he said they could invest in business expansions and higher employee wages. They could give a million or two to tax-exempt non-profits that feed, house and clothe poor people of America, among other things.

They did some of that, but the Eisenhower years generated enough taxes to launch and complete the labyrinth of interstate highways, the largest road project America had ever seen and is needed again.

Many modern Republicans would call such taxation socialism.

It isn't.
