Welcome from Middle Earth!
I've already made it to 72. One of the things I did was to quit smoking. Believe me, you will feel a lot better if you do. Cancer is a bummer and I was lucky to survive it. Like you, about the only exercise I get now is to click the remote control for the TV. Nevertheless, I still long for the happy times when I could still cut firewood and work on stone retaining walls. Welcome to the forums and I look forward to reading your posts. Feel free to look at my bio page.
Definitely, I'm nearly three years without cigarettes now although I still vape a little it's nothing like how it was. It's the best thing I ever did, I no longer stink and at £13 a packet I'm better off plus my breathing is better and I have more energy.
“I expect to pass this way but once; any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” (Etienne De Grellet)
