Had to look up the origins of this image.

That the words “Black Lives Matter” were painted on a street more
than 60 years ago is interesting—to say the least.

I think it's officially titled: "When We Could Get Away With It."

On this day in 1945, the deadliest air raid in human history occurred when we bombed Tokyo with 334 B-29 bombers, killing well over 100,000 people and burning 16 square miles of the city to the ground. People jumped into the canals to escape the heat of the fires, only to be boiled alive.

This was not an atomic-bomb attack.

Which led General Curtis LeMay, the commander  of the B-29 force, to say:

Quote:“If We Had Lost The War, We All Would Have Been Prosecuted As War Criminals

War never leads to justice - only revenge.

... and yet we still see bombs as our Maslow's Hammer, up to today, right this goddamned minute. As long as it's not their kids risking life and limb. I love our country, but I hate our fucking leaders.

If Americans—as they claim—truly love their country, but, as
many claim despise its Administration, then they need to get
off their fat, lazy arses and do something about it. Constantly
whinging on these sorts of forums—empty words—ain't gonna
do nothing to fix that!

And sometimes I think, even from a tiny speck of a village in the
Antipodes that I'm more angry and more concerned and more
disgusted about Trump and his corrupt, criminal cohort than half
the American population is.     Who instead should be FFS!
