I thought you guys were supposed to be critical thinkers. It was stated that when they arrived at the location the search for anything that might be in the sky before they began. The sky was clear. Balloons don't appear out of nowhere, nor do they perform maneuvers and move at a high rate of speed.

Yes, high altitude weather balloons do seemingly appear
"out of nowhere".  Because of their distance from a ground
observer, they often only become visible when the sun strikes
them at a particular angle as  Thumpalumpacus has said.

And there's the possibility of wind shear, which occurs whenever
the wind speed instantly loses 15 to 30 knots, or gains more than
15 knots.     Also microbursts can happen when the wind speed
loses more than 30 knots.  

These conditions can easily cause sharp and erratic movements
of weather (or any) balloons.    And planes!

    Ask any pilot.

This is nonsense. The object in GoFast is a white fuzzy dot that covers about 8 pixels on screen. There's no way of knowing if it's rounded or shaped like a pyramid or a snowflake. You certainly can't tell if it's smooth or egg shaped.

...So, I set out here to sample the accuracy of Elizondo's book. I picked the parts that I was familiar with, and that were based on public information that anyone can verify - the videos. You can see there are lots of errors, some wishful thinking, and sometimes claims of things being the exact opposite of how they actually were.

Now remember this is not a breakdown of the video, that only came out yesterday. This is West's analysis of the Kindle version of the book, and look at the timestamp, he posted that vid on Fri 23rd 04:05

I came by it at 13:00 and the view count was 12,056.

It's now 23,230.
 
But now look at the Ross Jizrag - Elizondo bollocks, that came out two days ago and again I made a note of it:

It's now 843,000. And no doubt 3 million by this time next week.

None of these images is in the least convincing or compelling
proof for the existence of UFO/UAPs.  To anybody experienced in
digital image capture, many of these video clips can easily be
explained by numerous technical/equipment shortcomings or
interpretive confusion by the photographers themselves.

Think of helicopter and airplane lights; a camera simply being
moved around erratically—particularly with long zooms; the
Moon, Venus or Jupiter; silvered weather balloons; satellite trains;
internal camera reflections or flares—common with singular, bright
light points; illuminated drones; and deliberate hoaxes.

   And yes, like you, I'm the ultimate skeptic.

After 60 years, witnesses to Australia's biggest UFO
sighting at Westall High School in Melbourne say it's
time for answers.  

It remains the biggest mass sighting of a UFO in Australian history.


One problem of course—variations of this
same image were rife on TV in 1966, and
also in American comic books still widely
on sale downunder.


These were some of the school students at that time
holding their original sketches of what they allegedly
saw on that day.
