Ban log peanut gallery (Warning: May contain nuts)
Is it possible that he asked for the ban? Mathilda said he's welcome back, any time. We've had people ask to be banned before.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Bans should not be whimsical.

I'm with you in spirit, but there must be more to the story.

No opinion, I didn't play with him that much, wasn't sure he was vaccinated.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

The nature of this ban is not rules related and upon the involved parties request we are not saying more.  This was not a typical ban for ill behavior which is why if they wish to return they will be allowed back.

I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

And apparently you are:

Looks like Jarsa was correct all along.
He's been banned but there's a possibility that he's not been banned.

I always wondered why some people feel compelled to make a "statement" when they leave.  Just leave.  Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Maybe a Temporary Ban can be a thing. Banning someone and forcing them to break a rule to re-enlist is bad form. Quite Trumpian actually.

They are a thing and have been used when longstanding members in otherwise good stead run afoul of rules as a sort of cooldown period.  It has mixed results.  As to the rules breaking Sockpuppetry is against the rules; creating a new account for legitimate purposes is not.  Legitimate purposes are almost always "Ahh I lost my password and do not have access to the email I signed up with can you reset my password so I can log back in" and is not trying to deceive anyone as to who you are or attempting to continue posting once access to the old account has been restored.
