Well, it's gaudy but tasteless.
Typical gross McMansion, they're all over the landscape out here. A 15 year old's "idea" of how a rich person lives.
This idiot was the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins for quite a while, which is really a scary thought, but not totally surprising.
Would love to get the poop from one of the residents who trained there during his tenure.
Seems like the type who needs help to get his socks on, in the AM.
The pediatricians actually watch and care for the patients, and they step in once in a while and do some (admittedly delicate) plumbing or put in some hardware.
He was supposed to be good at correcting "conjoined" twins. I wonder if he thanked Jesus during the surgery for doing that to the babies ?

All fossils are transitional.

It wouldn't matter if you had the skeletons of everything that lived since the Big Bang laid out in front of them. The hard core are not interested in facts, they don't want answers, they are just running on Jesus juice, and nothing else matters. The good news is that's a small percentage of people. Most people are no more religious than I am. They just mouth the words and nod when they're supposed to nod.

Agreed. By Aussie standards and current housing trends—simplicity of form and function, open,
airy room spaces, a lack of complex interior decorative finishes, super clean lines, subtle but toned
down fixtures and fittings etc, Carson's house would be considered spew-worthy. Not even the
nouveau riche would build that architectural abortion here.
And I read somewhere that Carson has said of his allegedly supreme medical prowess that "It's God
working through his hands". But Carson has faced seven malpractice claims that date back to the
early 1980s, and in one case, an agreement was reached with the plaintiff to not disclose any
outcome of her financial settlement after successfully suing Carson. Three of those cases involved
his patients who suffered aggravated ongoing physical disabilities due, it was claimed, to Carson's
maltreatment; Karly Bailey, Austin Reynolds, and Mary Perna.

I'm a creationist; I believe that man created God.

Interesting.
There may be a "pattern" in (increased) neurosurgical legal actions ... I don't actually know anything about their frequency in neurosurgery ... but 7 is a LOT.
My dad has only been sued once, a bypass who died months post-op, and they did figure out what happened, and it had nothing to do with the surgery.
It was a great day in court tho. Dad was *really* upset about it, and had been for a long time. The judge said his "good morning" and sat down.
Then he asked if anyone had any further information to present. Both sides said "no". Then the judge reviewed the case (out loud, verbally) and presented some other relevant medical information. Then about 5 minutes in, he says "With that, ladies and gentlemen (bang ... gavel slams down on his desk ... ) "case dismissed". (LOL-not even a case ... heh heh).
