One year old Omar arrived from Turkey last Thursday and went to his forever home where he discovered GRASS.
Word from his new mom is that he still loves it.

One of my favorite mental images is of a four year old girl bouncing the hallway with our 26 tom cat being held exactly like that.

Never underestimate the importance of low-hanging fruit. Tantalus would have surely appreciated some. LOL!

Now, THAT is an interesting thought. Supposing, for the sake of argument, there WAS a Jesus and his Dad/self, and some ghost of Him (which into the weeds but nevermind). What day WOULD He take off? I mean my calender STARTS on Sundays. So why do religions say to REST on that FIRST day? Shouldn't He have rested AFTER making everything, like on Saturday?
Well, "duh" that's why college football is on Saturday. So He can watch!
BTW, wouldn't want to be in His football pool. Like, how could He ever lose?

I've been tempted. But I would probably keep getting Trash Day wrong. I think I will try one though.
I would like to try a non-QWERTY keyboard too. Since I'm not a touch-typist, I might adapt to it easily. But I AM a decent hunt&peck type after all these years. About 20 wpm. It's the 5 wpm corrections that drive me crazy.
But here is a laugh fr everyone. I stopped to think how to spell "QWERTY" correctly. Then just looked at the keyboard. DUH!
