It's turning into one of those 80's-Billy-Joel-political/culture-song kind of days. So much could go wrong today. It's going to be a delicate operation.

We sure don't all have the same "earworms" in our heads. I don't even know most of the songs mentioned above. LOL!

I am aware this is a repeat, but it's stuck in my head.

I have too many TV show and movie theme songs that rattle around in my head. And not even ones I like. The random inappropriateness is the worst part. I hate Doris Day movies, but 'Three Coins In The Fountain' keeps coming to mind. I did like the 'Pink Panther' movies, but would be happy to forget the theme music. And there are others. And not just movies. The 'Jetsons' keeps coming up. And 'Green Acres' and 'The Munsters'. There are more...

Maybe the worst part is that I only remember parts and can't get to the end. So "the parts" just keep cycling...

Let's test that theory.

Try it with this one.

Welcome new entity. Can you create an introduction thread so that we can get to know you?

If you want to avoid earworms, whatever you do, don't listen to this!

I forgot that tune as soon as it ended. It won't be an earworm to me...

It isn't new music that causes earworms for me. I'm talking about old stuff. 70s TV show theme songs, Doris Day songs, ancient cartoon shows, songs that I only recall some of the words to (and have to try to recall the missing ones). And it is always different ones every day. Just a few notes in a commercial, and it segues into something similar. And then it is locked in. Panic

How about this one? It's a little haunting.
