I'll watch 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' when it shows up free on cable. Same with 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'. But that's about it... I'm not real big on a 2 hour movie stretched to 3 hours with all the ads and I don't want to buy them either. They will show up free eventually.
![]() I did buy the 'Avengers: Endgame' DVD and regretted it. I love it, but it showed up free just a few weeks later. I'll stay more patient.
Watson, you fool, someone has stolen our tent!

I have always wondered why vultures actually don't kill something when hungry. I mean predators like lions can be scavengers sometimes. Why not the reverse? As far as I can tell, humans started that way about meat. I can imagine 2 ancient hominids saying "Patience hell, I'm gonna kill that rabbit"!

Living things attract predators. Vultures taste like carrion so they are WAY down on the predation list.

Die Hard. After what happened with Bruce Willis I was curious. Very good film. I'm going to have to watch the sequels.

So yeah, they've been around a while. ![]()

![]() A somewhat puerile imitation of better adventure films, but my mom and I enjoyed it. The ending scene suggested a sequel. ![]()

I ROFLMAO when they picked up the ship by it's mast. First, dry rot, hundreds of years of dry rot. Second, dry rot, ... Etc.

Also, I'm familiar with the "flying crane" from my years in Vietnam. A ship like that would be well beyond the lifting capacity for that aircraft, but anything is possible in the movies. ![]()

The hopping from crate to crate IN MID AIR, just amazing. (Was that in "Uncharted" or another stupid movie?)

Filming of "Das Boot", with proper english subtitles
