Well that was a pretty entertaining game. Not a classic but it wasn't decided until the last couple minutes so that's the best you can ask for.

Definitely. Last superbowl was so boring that i will hate Brady and Belichick for the rest of my life. Thois one was very entertaining, with two worthy contenders. Good comeback by the Chiefs. ![]()

Go Cowboys!!
May "The Washington Football Team" as currently named sink into a swamp so low that the NFL forcibly removes Dan Snyder as owner. I'm a local. If they gave away FREE tickets when fans could attend in the future, I would ceremonially burn them.
I don't know what their eventual more "normal" name will be (I personally favor "Washington Warriors" because it is both alliterative and non-specific), but with Dan Snyder as owner, nothing will change. And he is an ass.

If the Jets were in the NFC East they'd only be 3 games out of first.
The 4-7 Washington Football Team (real current team name) knocked off the 11-0 Pittsburgh Steelers IN their OWN STADIUM 23-17 after being down 14-0. And I SAW it happen. They are my local team. They aren't supposed to DO stuff like that.
Joke: Q: What is the name of The Washington Football Team Mascot? A: "The Washington Football Team Mascot". LOL! We are utterly generic this year while the team owner decides on a new name. BTW, along that same line, I once saw a picture of a Renault "Le Car". The tag (license plate) was "Le tag". Creativity cracks me up... Seriously, it gets me through "Le Day"! ![]()

Decent NFL playoffs so far. Interesting underdog stories (Tampa Bay, now with Brady, Buffalo, and Cleveland) and a few classic teams (Packers, Saints).
Well Superbowl tomorrow. I watch a few games during the year, My Texans are mathematically out usually by week one of the season or so. I will watch the Superbowl though, I do like tradition and spectacles that bind us together as Americans or as sports fans worldwide (I try to watch World Cup, etc.). I think the KC Chiefs are slightly favored, but I think the TB Bucs will win. I think they have the better roster of players in general and will wear down the Chiefs in a close one. TB by, I'll say, 3

Huddle, snap, mass movement, end of play. I usually can't even tell who has the ball unless they pass it. I'd rather throw a football than watch a football game. Give me baseball anytime! Monday, I will look up the commercials. They are the best part.

I would just like to mention for the interest of all that Team Ruff has won again the Puppy Bowl. It was a good match because there were puppies.
Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers will miss Green Bay's next game under
the NFL's COVID protocol, as accusations fly that he misled his team and the league about his vaccination status. NFL Network and ESPN reported Rodgers is unvaccinated despite saying in a press conference in August that he had "been immunised". Packers coach Matt LaFleur was asked whether Rodgers's August comment might be seen as misleading to fans if the quarterback was indeed unvaccinated, saying, "That's a great question for Aaron... I'm not going to comment on it". I'm a creationist; I believe that man created God.
Dwayne Haskins had blood alcohol over .2 and ketamine and norketamine when he died on a highway in Florida. Sad.

2025 Superbowl today. Rundown for the interested and uninterested alike:
Location: Scenic and historic New Orleans. Participants: Kansas City Chiefs (red) have a chance to make history by winning third straight Superbowl, will be only team to do so in the Superbowl era (since 1965?66?) Trying to stop them, the Philadelphia Eagles (green), a team notorious for its talented players and a city for its crude and boorish fans. Thought to be a close match up. Chiefs believed to have advantage in coaching and in quarterback. Eagles believed to have advantage in general higher skill and speed at more positions, particularly in running back with Saquon Barkley, who may bash through the Chief defense the way truck terrorists bash through New Orleans street obstructions. Not sure what the line is so I will say what I think it is, then google it, then tell you how brilliant or not I am. I say Chiefs 2 point favorite. Okay I'm seeing either 1 point or 1.5 point (philly gets that added to their final score for betting). Not too surprising, on paper this looks like a very close matchup. I think will be high scoring, if close at the end KC will find a way to win, that is their trend. Best chance for Philly is to beat 'em up quick and take a lead early, but no one expects a blowout. Game starts in 8 hours around 5pm tonight ('Murica time zone-ish) but wall to wall in depth coverage probably started days ago. Philly fan in action:
I was reading how New Orleans rounded up the homeless and shoved them into an unheated warehouse ahead of the game. Keep New Orleans beautiful!

Wow halftime and Eagles killing Chiefs 24 - 0. Tough to imagine a comeback, Eagles are putting major pressure on KC QB with only four guys. Historically bad sign for Superbowl losers. Philadelphia fans will celebrate in character by burning city to the ground.
I don't know where the Chiefs are, but I know where they aren't ... in the stadium.
<insert important thought here>

Omaha does a homeless 'clean up/out' every spring when the college world series comes to town. Homeless shelters, county hospital and jails get filled to capacity.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
In New Orleans, the problem they ran into was rounding the homeless up into a warehouse that had no heat and it was during their cold front. For several days, they had a bunch of homeless folks with few blankets and bad optics. They should be ashamed but, I doubt it.

No, the problem is treating the homeless as an inconvenience, as a means to an end rather than ends in and of themselves. The problem is prejudice against the homeless. It's a common problem with a long history. Michel Foucault documents how the hospital in Paris was used to warehouse the poor and homeless as mentally ill to keep them off the streets so that Parisians didn't have to acknowledge the problem or be inconvenienced by encountering the poor and the homeless. It's the same thing. 기러기, 토마토, 스위스, 인도인, 별똥별, 우영우

Trying to hide the homeless in a warehouse with no heat was a cruel manifestation of their perceived problem. They don’t seem to even attempt a solution.
Fortunately I've never been homeless .Can't imagine how terrible that would be
Cruel for a country with billionaires.
All I know is that I know nothing
Most billionaires don't give a fuck about anything but themsevles.
