Over in Southeastern CA's Imperial Valley, there was a massive influx of Chinese workers for the railroad out there, IIRC, and so the food around there (Mexicali, BC and Calexico, CA) is often a Chinese Mexican hybrid. I've never really done food tourism, but that would be a reason to do it, IMHO.

Here in Australia, Tilapia (Oreochromis, Pelmatolapia, Coptodon)
are a serious pest fish, competing with native fish, damaging aquatic
vegetation, and can carry eggs in their mouths so even dead fish can
spread them if returned to or left near waterways.  It's illegal to move,
release, possess, buy or sell Tilapia.

Yes.  They are, after all, vegetables.

Kids brought me a pizza from a local joint that makes New York style pizza…it was delicious.  Son also included boneless chicken wing with a tangy honey sauce…also, delicious.

I've been making Kool-Aid with artificial sweetener today. It's not as cheap as Walmart drink mix, but Walmart has a rather limited flavor selection.
