Burger King whopper and fries. My hubby ran out of ideas and didn’t thaw anything. Bless his heart…
Hotwings. I was going to have leftover shrimp but they smelled a little off so I threw them out. You don't take chances with shrimp.
Spaghetti in organic Parmesan Romano pasta sauce from Target.
Gator tail. Ya gotta try it.

Over in Southeastern CA's Imperial Valley, there was a massive influx of Chinese workers for the railroad out there, IIRC, and so the food around there (Mexicali, BC and Calexico, CA) is often a Chinese Mexican hybrid. I've never really done food tourism, but that would be a reason to do it, IMHO.

Pork tenderloin and zucchini. I did it in the oven this time. Much better than the Instant Pot.
Popcorn chicken and Buffalo wing sauce.
Corn chowder and saltines, a Belgian waffle, bacon, chocolate chip cookies.

Everything is better with Old Bay:
Old Bay seasoned pan fried tilapia with oven roasted potatoes, and a simple garden salad with freshly made Italian dressing, featuring lots of garlic! It's illegal to move, release, possess, buy or sell Tilapia. I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.
Fettuccine in lemon Alfredo sauce.
Fish sandwiches.
Leftover pork tenderloin and garlic Parmesan veggies.
Sloppy Joes and waffle fries.

Spaghetti in organic Parmesan Romano pasta sauce with crushed red pepper and freshly grated Romano cheese.
Just took delivery of twenty pounds of elk. Nuisance animal kill, he had attacked cars, houses, telephone poles, etc. Then he attacked a school bus. Bad idea. Good elk.

Hamburgers. Do pickles and onions count as a vegetable?

Kids brought me a pizza from a local joint that makes New York style pizza…it was delicious. Son also included boneless chicken wing with a tangy honey sauce…also, delicious.
Spaghetti in Prego traditional pasta sauce with freshly grated Romano cheese. The Prego was okay. Not my favorite, but not bad, either.
I've been making Kool-Aid with artificial sweetener today. It's not as cheap as Walmart drink mix, but Walmart has a rather limited flavor selection. |
