Hello,

I have been a confirmed atheist since July 1999. Before then, I was a non-religious Catholic.

In February 2001, before the terrorist attacks, I noticed that American society was increasingly disorderly. Why is there so much conflict in contrast to how sophisticated technology has evolved? "Why can't we all just get along?" is the perpetual public grievance that seems to have manifested into the recent proclamations of another civil war.

I am preparing to release my treatise, and I want to go over a few things with the critical thinkers:

Do you agree that the evolution of American society has gotten more disorderly?

Why do you think things have gotten to the state that you describe it to be?

Hello, Secular Heckler - looks like you're thinking through some broadly interesting ideas.  No doubt you'll get some interesting feedback.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

Welcome to the forum. Shy
I'm single. Never married. No children.
Going on 61 years old.
Homeless, drug addicted, alcoholic, community college art school drop-out veteran of the U.S. Navy.

I just captured a selfie outside the hangar where I worked in the Navy. The base was shut down twenty-five years ago and is used for various other aircraft services, most notably, freight for distribution centers now located nearby. It was very windy so my hair seemed to be shaved on the left side.

Hello there! Welcome…
Welcome Woof. Sounds like you're going to give us some interesting perspectives.
"Disorderly?"  No.

Fascistic, yes.  And racist but it has always been that.

Welcome aboard.
