Haha, no one is ready to chuckle at themselves.  

Years ago now, the salesman from a local cemetery visited my wife and me at our house so we could buy a plot. Many of her relatives are buried there.

He told us a bit about the cemetery's history. It is located in a suburb, but many of its first graves were filled with caskets relocated from a Philadelphia cemetery.

My unthinking comment was, "That must have been a massive undertaking."

Groan.

I am.  I shave my head every few months.  Easier than going to a barber shop.  And I wear a cap outside anyway. So I looked in the mirror last night and found a patch of hair sticking out.  I couldn't get the razor to get at it in any way.  it was just a place my arms didn't want to go.  I did finally manage to get that patch off, but it sure wasn't a natural movement!

I laughed at my poor efforts instead of getting mad about it.  If you can't laugh at yourself, you can't laugh at anyone else.
