Buying is easy, moving is not.

I've put aside $10,000 US$ for the move. This is no great sacrifice as we're looking to buy the house we're currently living in.

I gotta laugh, you sneaky SOB! Buying without moving... Don't even have to pack the dishes...

On the other paw, that can be a good "move". I took my mortgage down from about 9% 30 years to 6% 15 years and then just paid it all off after 10 years. Best financial "move" I ever made.
We would go from a $1040/month rental to a $701/month mortgage. That's $3,600 in savings.
