So, technically, Jesus has denied them that choice. It's almost like they pick and choose which parts of the Bible they like.

I don't know the bible very well, last time I read it I was 10. But surprisingly I know more than my christian friends. They don't read the bilbe it seems, they just listen to Sunday sermons.
PS. I just corrected a typo - bile instead of bible. I almost left it...
