Xtians Will Lie About Everything
Nothing to do with any fucking "jesus."

Quote:Tablet thought to have guarded tombs after Jesus’s death may not be what it seems

A marble tablet warning grave robbers away from tombs soon after the disappearance of Jesus’s body may not be what it seems. That’s the conclusion of a new chemical analysis of the marble, which finds that the object was quarried in Greece, not the Middle East. Instead, the famous “Nazareth inscription” was likely created to guard the grave of a Greek tyrant who died a few decades before Christ.

Always trying to shoehorn their boy into the historical record.... and science keeps sticking it up their asses.

Jesus wasn't buried in Nazareth.
Even the story they made up places him nowhere near a "Nazareth".
The archaeologists in the story should have read the story.

Highly doubtful that there was anyplace named "Nazareth" in the early first century.

That too is a problem, (at least it was not a "town").

But their precious "gospels" claim it was a "city."  What are the odds that another "city" would have been built so close to Sepphoris?

Well, their CPUs only handle about 2.5 words per minute. Even with overclocking, it's like 2.5001 words per minute.

Nothing surprising here.  Christianity is built on lies, deliberate misrepresentations, exaggerations, and wilful deceit etc.
I'm a creationist;   I believe that man created God.

And here I thought Christianity was built on rationalizations piled up so high they became mythology. People do love to feel important and fill in the blanks.

So Jesus/God could do magical  things like feed thousands with one loaf of bread and raise the dead, create the universe,  but he couldn't just walk through a stone wall after he died, had to roll a big rock out of the way?  That's pretty disappointing.

This so-called burial inscription always reminded me of another piece of shit that the jesus freaks trot out on occasion:  The Mara bar Serapion letter.

Quote:Mara Bar-Serapion (Syrian)

Mara Bar-Serapion was a Syrian philosopher, who wrote a letter to his son sometime after AD 73. William Cureton dates the letter to the end of the first century,[1] though most scholars date this letter to the second century, because he refers to the Jews as desolate and scattered, which fits better after the Bar Kokhba Revolt (AD 135). There is only one manuscript of his letter in existence, dating to the 7th century and preserved in the British Museum.

What advantage did the Athenians gain from putting Socrates to death? Famine and plague came upon them as a judgment for their crime. What advantage did the men of Samos gain from burning Pythagoras? In a moment their land was covered with sand. What advantage did the Jews gain from executing their wise King? It was just after that that their kingdom was abolished. God justly avenged these three wise men: the Athenians died of hunger; the Samians were overwhelmed by the sea; the Jews, ruined and driven from their land, live in complete dispersion. But Socrates did not die for good; he lived on in the statue of Hera. Nor did the wise King die for good; he lived on in the teaching which he had given.

Not a single solitary word about fucking jesus but that never stops the nuts from insisting that he "must have" ( there's that phrase again!) been referring to jesus.
