When it comes to the bottom line, religitards have red lines that can't be crossed!

Quote:Religious leaders call for expulsion of Washington lawmaker who calls for ‘holy war’ to establish right-wing theocracy

“We are mindful of the life-threatening reality of both Christian Dominionism and white supremacy that exists in our communities and our nation,” the coalition said in a letter published by the Inlander newspaper. “We recognize that domestic terrorism has become a threat to our freedoms of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

He is advocating the violent overthrow of the government. That is most certainly a criminal act.

Arrest the motherfucker and throw his sorry white ass in jail.

Oh, no Hallucinations 4:11 says the 'gilded sheep should be stewed in rat blood' but Morons 5:16 contradicts it.

For those not familiar with RawStory (and who would be LOL)...

RawStory is a self-proclaimed progressive internet news site, featuring re-digested clickbait. Never
take a RawStory headline at face value: it's rarely actual fake news, but you'll need to de-spin its
content.

RawStory hardly ever has anything like the actual "raw" story. Almost all its stories are appropriated
from other news outlets, sometimes three or four steps down the chain from any rawness of story.
Raw Story tends to favour "outrage porn" about random individuals, anonymous internet commenters
or low-level elected officials acting out, or making outlandish statements.

It also publishes the typical clickbait "instant cure!" style articles. One article has the headline "Scientists
discover virus that kills all grades of breast cancer within seven days
", but the research paper itself
explicitly states "but not in normal mammary epithelial cells."

Fat lot of good it is, wringing his hands at the mess of toothpaste in the bathroom sink ... 'cause it ain't going back into the tube. He should have spoken up when that movement was small enough to be addressed.

Their bias has always rendered them unacceptable as a citable source. I will read their stuff sometimes in order to better understand ultra-liberal thought, but it is not a balanced outlet of information in my eyes.

Because those are the only two media outlets in the world, right?

You're right, though: RS and Fox seem roughly equal in terms of partisanship.

If there's anyone who has a better chance at convincing religious people not to be violent, isn't it fellow religious people? They're sure as hell not going to listen to atheists because they're convinced atheists have no morality to begin with.

Oddly though, only FOXtards denounce all other MSM outlets as being biased against their fuhrer.

When RS posts an actual news story they link to it in the article so you can read the original.  When they post an opinion piece they label it as such and tell you where it came from.  They do little actual writing on their own.   When the Orange Shitgibbon says something FOX sends out Hannity and his nazi pal, Carlson, to swear to the morons that they are hearing the voice of fucking god.

The fact that Fox has their own hobby-horse doesn't mean that other outlets don't have their own hobby-horse as well, is my point. It's a matter of which Kool-Ade flavor you prefer. Extremists on all sides poison the conversation for those willing to communicate and compromise. Extremists alienate large swathes of those who disagree, because their talking-points suck the oxygen out of the discussion.

Scorched-earth battles benefit no one. Politics is the art of the possible.

Agreed that there is an inherent bias.  That is why it is important that RS provides the link to the original story.  Frequently they produce a headline which focuses on another point of the original story.  But with the ability to see the original I get to make up my own mind.  One can't say that about the Trump ministry of propaganda.  Hannity, Carlson, Dobbs, Pirro, and the rest aren't worth shit.
