Breakdancing takes a lot of skill/technique. Not sure what the deal is or why it's being equated with jerking off.

Sounds like it could be a sport to me Dunno What makes it less of a sport than other sports? I think it’d be pretty cool to see a competition like this.

Why should I care whether breakdancing is considered a sport or not? Is civilization going to collapse?

Break dancing is deviating from what is considered as sport.

You might be dancing, doing cardio, but doing that a sport does not make.

Fuck you if you disagree.

I'm real like that.

Deal with it.

Well, it's no surprise that breakdancing was suggested.  Heck,  they used to have tug-o-war in the olympics... not to mention, club swinging & pigeon racing.  As a kid, I recall watching tandom bicycling - they don't do that anymore.

They change it up all the time.  It's kind of cool.
Personally, I think someone should suggest large bird falconry.   Shy

They've talked about including ballroom dancing as an Olympic competition.  Dancing With the Stars goes Olympic!  I think the problem with including so many activities in the Olympics is that it kinda makes it more plebeian or something.  I'm not sure if that's the right word.  Maybe I mean that it's quantity over quality, or something.   The Olympics used to have just a few competitions. The Olympics were more condensed and it  made it more exciting to watch.   Now everyone and their dog is competing in something.   Speaking of dogs,  I read somewhere that some dog lovers were wanting to have dog agility as one of the competitions, or was it sheepherding?  I donno,  it was one of those dog activity thingys.

So long as one is "fit" to do something, it should become an Olympic sport.

If you're "fit" to fix an air conditioner, you're an Olympic Champion!

In case you don't know what club swinging is ...

Yep - former olympic sport. I kind of wish they'd bring it back.
You do realize that the real competition is to best one's self at a particular activity, right? Nod

Some martial arts are sports. And some martial arts were turned into dances.

Nope. And don't you go making it an Olympic one.

Is billards not in the olympics? Consider  I guess I just thought it was.

I know croquet used to be in the olympics and someone was wanting to reinstate it, a few years ago.

I think I could go for a gold medal in croquet. Shy

No but the organizers of the Olympics seem determined to turn them into a fucking farce.  I don't watch the fucking Olympics anymore.  That started when they introduced Synchronized Swimming as a "sport."

Actually, I hired a laid-off FSB agent to do just such an investigation. Can't say I understand the thing about ponies wearing stockings. Not judging.

Personally, I think too many "non sports" are being included in the Olympics currently.  The 1896 Summer
Olympics program featured only 9 sports which encompassed 10 disciplines, and 43 events, as per;

• Athletics
• Gymnastics
• Weightlifting
• Cycling
• Fencing
• Sailing & Rowing
• Shooting
• Swimming
• Tennis
• Wrestling

We now also have Surfing, Skateboarding, and...  Sport Climbing!       Fucking sport climbing?  The ancient
Greeks must be turning in their graves.
I'm a creationist;   I believe that man created God.
