Infinite Multiverse Problem
Similar to the Fermi Paradox: if there is an infinite multiverse, and it's possible to travel to other Universes, wouldn't there be an infinite number of beings traveling to our Universe, and our Universe would have an infinite number of beings in it? This makes me suspect that either 1. There is no infinite multiverse, or 2. It is not possible in our Universe to travel to other Universes, and it is not possible for other beings to travel to our Universe.

Infinite Multiverse Problem
Geez, we can't even travel freely within our own galaxy let alone the local universe. I don't really see how it matters whether there are an infinite number of universes or just a handful. I don't see how we are in any position to know anything about that and we sure do not know enough about travel over even so great a distance as our own solar system to justify drawing a meaningful inference from the non presence of inter-universe travelers.

Interesting question.
1) It doesn't necessarily follow that we should see such alien beings, since you didn't define how easily such travel could be accomplished. If it's nearly impossible, we should see few if any of such travelers.
2) It's also possible that the Earth might not be a preferred destination.

What if the universes are of finite age, and finite life expectancy? It seems that this scenario could allow for the absence of the infinite number of beings perambulating through ours. Even if there is an infinite number of such universes.

I believe it was Wittgenstein who said that assuming that because something is possible, that given enough time it will happen, is a fallacy. Your reasoning appears founded upon that fallacy.

Was just a thought experiment. I don't believe an infinite multiverse exists, as there is currently little evidence to support the idea. Sheesh.

Infinite Multiverse Problem
The idea that it's possible to travel between universes is suspect, to me. There's no telling if the laws governing other universes would support our existence -- or support the existence of indigenous life inside them, for that matter. Perhaps there's a little anthropocentrism in the premises being floated?
On hiatus.

Infinite Multiverse Problem
I think there are infinite multiverses but, they happen consecutively and they are shaped like magnetic bee-bees, jostling around each other, which could allow for travel between them.
That seems fairly tidy.

Infinite Multiverse Problem
Although There are theories about possible other universes, so far there currently is no evidence to support them. It's a bit like the god theory, I prefer something with a bit of evidence to support it before I get too excited.
As for other intelligent life, I don't believe our first encounter will be a UFO landing on the White House lawn. We know the process we have gone through to evolve our bodies and also evolve our knowledge. We also know enough about the laws of science. As such we are constrained by both how far we have come and what science makes possible. So far we can transmit signals much, much further than we can send physical spacecraft so I believe our first contact with other intelligent life will be a phone call. The laws of physics and maths should work the same anywhere in the universe so we can use the language of science to have a conversation with them.
