Where does wisdom come from?
There are two theories that immediately spring to mind, the Alan Parsons Theory and the Kizzy Theory.
The Alan Parsons Theory is my favorite, and it looks better and better the older I get. Of course, empirical studies would be needed to establish it scientifically, and anecdotal evidence is somewhat mixed.
The Alan Parsons Theory is that wisdom comes from old age.

The Kizzy Theory is somewhat Biblical in nature, and suggests that wisdom is a gift from God, as a reward for being good in God's sight.

Wisdom comes from not doing the same stupid thing over and over again that annoys the hell out of everyone. Like posting video after video after video, the link always in big bold letters, videos that no one will watch. That's what wisdom is. Wisdom and sanity aren't all that different from each other.
