Okay, adding this to my list of ways NOT to get back to sleep when fighting insomnia....

I was thinking, okay, this pandemic's been going on, and not counting recommendations to inject bleach and Bakker hawking his silver crap I've been hearing less alternative medicine nonsense than normal.  I thought, "could it be that the hucksters actually have the decency to reel in their bullshit in the face of a serious threat?"

So I Googled "Covid 19 alternative medicine" to check.

I had a co-worker waaaay back when I was with IBM, twenty years or so ago. Very devout Christian, but not one of those 'wear it on your sleeve, cram it down your throat' kinds, really nice guy. He loved telling the story of when his wife -- equally devout -- decided to learn a new recipe online and just plugged 'cherry pie' into Altavista.
